From the writer of the incisive true-crime/horror sensation EVIL'S EDEN: Only Murders in Los Angeles comes the highly praised supernatural comedy novel, DISPOSSESSED: A Very L.A. Ghost Story. It's the tale of a boy and a girl... and a thing long dead.
Snippet: "On a ragged lot, the grand, gray lady crouched, unsated; a predator, hungry for souls. Boundless in broken promise, the house opened wide its terrible maw and beckoned them in."
Absolute evil meets amateur home renovation in this electrifying and rollicking novel. Author Márquez deep-dives into life, love, and loathing in Los Angeles, a place of unbounded promise rooted in unmitigated evil.
DISPOSSESSED is the scariest, funniest holiday season you'll ever spend between two covers.
An irreverent coming-of-age comedy with the chills of slow-burn horror. Get ready for pumpkins, turkeys, Santas, and fiery-eyed demons! DISPOSSESSED is the perfect holiday "evergreen."
