The company announced that it is now able to supply plumbers and contractors with a new and innovative system for use in repairing or rehabilitating pipes. This new system is based on the PipeCaster Pro dispensing pump machine. This new system is suited to address internal piping where small pipe diameter in-wall or ground-embedded pipes need to be repaired without damage to their surroundings. Traditionally, internal leaking or damaged pipes needed to be exposed by removing walls, floors or ceilings to access the pipes. Through the use of this new system, plumbers can easily reline such hard to reach pipes through existing access points. This system applies a fast curing resin directly on the pipes. The coating adds to the structural integrity of the existing pipe, and creates a new surface allowing a smooth and faster flow. With the ease and speed of the application process, plumbers can make faster repairs with less inconvenience to the property owner. This also dramatically reduces the cost of the repairs. What used to be a very expensive and time consuming project is now a quick and inexpensive repair.

This new system focuses on the use of PipeCast Flex resin. This new polyurea resin was designed for use with the Poepcaster Pro, for use in relining internal pipes. This is a fast setting resin that contains zero VOCs. It cures to tacky within 25 seconds. Once cured it provides corrosion protection and chemical resistance. It also provides excellent impact resistance even in sub-freezing weather. It adds to the structural integrity of the pre-existing pipe. It is also water resistant. Therefore, it can be applied even if the existing pipe is not thoroughly dry. It does not foam when exposed to moister or sitting water, as polurethane based resins do. Most significantly, this resin can also be used in other manufacturer’s pumping machines. Because the resin is applied directly onto the pipe, there is no need to use liners. Also, there is no need to do any reinstatements after the the re-lining is completed.
