Eagle Hills to develop $12bn Maldives waterfront tourism destination
Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills has signed an agreement with the government of the Maldives to develop a $12 billion waterfront and marina destination in Ras Malé, representing one of the largest proposed foreign investment programmes in the island nation’s history.
The Maldives Waterfront and Marina will be created at Fushi Dhiggaru Lagoon, approximately 17 minutes by speedboat from the capital, Malé. The integrated destination will combine international hotels and resorts with premium and branded residences, a marina, waterfront promenades, restaurants, retail, leisure and wellness facilities.
