Service sector contributes 66.1% to China's economic growth in H1

China's service sector has maintained strong growth momentum this year, contributing 66.1% to the country's economic growth in the first half (H1) of 2026, up 5.9 percentage points from the same period a year earlier, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's top economic planner, said on Tuesday.
